While responding to fan questions on Twitter, James Gunn, who is the new co-CEO of DC Films, has stated that he would balance minor characters from DC Comics with the DCU’s big superheroes. When a Twitter user asked Gunn whether he would prioritise the established Justice League superheroes or work with less-popular DC characters, the new co-CEO said they would work on both of them.

Gunn said that they would focus on “some lesser-known” and “most well-known” characters simultaneously. Gunn is renowned for working on those characters, which are not well-known. While directing for Marvel Studios, Gunn made the characters of “Guardians of the Galaxy” famous.

As the new co-CEO, Gunn has been working hard to create a unified approach to the DCU. He is trying to form a “DC Universe Bible.” Gunn has hinted about several characters that can make their DCU debut under him. These characters include Green Arrow and Green Lantern. However, Gunn revealed that most fans asked him to bring the character of Booster Gold on screen. He said that he found it “fascinating.”
Although Gunn and producer Peter Safran have not released their DC slate, the character of Superman is a priority to the studio. Recently, Gunn confirmed that Henry Cavill would no longer be playing Superman as the “Man of Steel” reboot would be based on his younger days.
